Library Rules & Regulations :
- Library users must carry their College I-card while visiting Library.
- Do not hand over your I-card to anyone else.
- Students need to come on their own for collecting their I-card. Loss of I-card must be immediately reported in the library. Process for issue of duplicate I-card will be explained by the library staff.
- Join the Official Telegram Channel of the Library.
- Scan the Barcode on the I-Card during entry and exit from the Library/ Reading hall/ Digital Library.
- Keep mobile phone on silent mode.
- Maintain silence in the Library, Digital Section and Reading Halls.
- Eatables/Drinks are strictly not allowed inside library.
- Search the required book in the OPAC Terminal at the entrance of the Library. Note down the Classification Number and go to the respective rack and shelf as per the Library Shelf Guides to get your book.
- The Library and Information Centre is under 24 x 7 CCTV surveillance.
- The College Library follows Subject wise arrangement of books. Library users need to follow the shelf guides to get to the subject they want to refer.
- Library users must handle the books properly.
- Loss of book should be immediately reported to the Library Clerk and Librarian.
- Journals / Periodicals/ Newspapers will not be issued on home lending to students. Students can read the Journals/Periodicals in Reading Hall.
- Student must clear the pending library dues for getting their Marksheet / Transfer Certificate.
- Books bearing the stamp ‘NOT TO BE ISSUED OUT’ and/or ‘REFERENCE BOOK’ will not be available for home issuing. However, students and staff can sit in the library and refer the book.
- Internet facility is available for all students and staff in the Digital Section of the library.
- Playing online games, watching YouTube videos (other than educational videos) is strictly prohibited in the Digital Library Section.
- Library users are requested to remember that not all books published are available in the Library.
- Library users are requested to approach the Library Clerk / Librarian regarding difficulty related to the library.
Important Points Regarding Issue / Return of Library Books :
- Number of books students can issue at a time are: Junior College & UG : 01 , PG : 02
- Number of days students can keep the books with them after issuing: 07 Days. Re-issuing is allowed maximum twice depending on the demand of the book.
- Students must return their book/s immediately after the final examination of the respective academic year.
