About Department :
The Department of Statistics was established in the year 1970. Statistics was a subsidiary subject up to SYBSc and special subject for SYBCom and TYBCom at that time. The department started TYBSc in Statistics and MCom (statistics special) in the year 1979. The department started the MSc course in statistics in 2009.
