Botany - Skill Development Courses 

The Department of Botany offers a foundational course in Plant Tissue Culture, a key biotechnology skill. Running for five weeks, it provides hands-on training to equip students for higher education and jobs as technicians. The objective is to make students aware of basic techniques and create skilled human resources in plant biotechnology, empowering them for future academic and industrial opportunities.

Certificate Course on Basics in Gardening is offered by the Department of Botany, Progressive Education Society’s Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Shivajinagar, Pune 411005. The course is 8 sessions, and open to all.
