A) Port Visits & Industrial Visits

The Department of BBA-IB every year conducts the port visits & industrial visits of students. The main motive is to make students aware of the industry environment. In the context of international business, students must have knowledge of import/export procedures and port activities. Our department arranges port visits to Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust located at Nava-Shiva near Mumbai, ICD Dighi, ICD Talegaon, etc. Port authorities give knowledge of import/export procedures, documents, ships, and types of containers to students.

 

B) IB Exhibition

The BBA-IB Department has conducted “I.B. Exhibition 2025” on 22nd January 2025. The theme of the exhibition was “International Business Evolution: Bridging Cultures and Markets”. A total of 6 teams participated in this activity. The participating teams presented various models based on topics such as AI Driven Global Workforce, Sustainable International Packaging Solutions, The Evolution and Automation of Cross-Border E-Commerce Growth, Smart Supply Chain Management Systems, Smart Ports: Revolutionizing Global Trade, Cross-Border Payment Systems with FinTech. Out of the above, “AI-Driven Global Workforce” received first prize.

C) Live telecast of Union Budget

On 01/02/2025, the BBA-IB Department conducted an activity for the live telecast of the Union Budget, presented by the Hon. Union Finance Minister. The main motive of this activity is to make the students aware of the Union Budget process, the change in tax rates declared in the budget, and the effects of budgets on the economy. After the presentation of the budget, students are asked to write a report.

B) Best out of Waste

On 4th September 2023, the BBA-IB Department organised an exhibition on the theme of “BEST OUT OF WASTE”. A total of 08 teams from the S.Y.BBA-IB class participated in this exhibition.

C) IB Exhibition

The BBA-IB Department has conducted “I.B. Exhibition 2024” on 23rd January 2024. The theme of the exhibition was “Global Connect: Bridging Business, Technology and Diplomacy”. A total of 9 teams participated in this activity. The participating teams presented various models based on topics such as G20 India’s Presidency, Sustainable Business Practices, Cross-Border E-commerce Ecosystem, Smart Cities & Sustainable Urban Development, International Trade Routes and Logistics, Emerging Markets and Opportunities, Future International Work, E-commerce and Digital Transformation (AI), and Technology Innovation Hubs around the world. Out of the above, “International Trade Routes and Logistics” achieved first prize.

D) Live telecast of Union Budget

On 01/02/2024, the BBA-IB Department conducted an activity for the live telecast of the Union Budget presented by the Hon. Union Finance Minister. The participating teams presented various models based on topics such as Indian Defence and Aerospace, Indian Start-ups and their Connectivity, G20 and India, Flexible Fuel Vehicles, Indian Initiatives in Solar Energy and EV Selectors, Project PM Gatishakti, and International Relations of India in Geopolitics. Out of the above, “Indian Defence and Aerospace” achieved first prize.

C) Best out of Waste

On 27th August 2022, an exhibition – “BEST OUT OF WASTE” – was organised.  A total of 12 teams from SY participated. The student presented different models related to the theme.
