Research :

Dr. S.Y. Paranjape, the former Head, took initiative in establishment of the Post Graduate Research Centre in Zoology at our college. He was Principal Investigator of several research projects. He guided few students for M.Phil. and Ph.D. Dr. A. M. Bhalerao and Prof. N. M. Naidu completed his Ph.D. and M.Phil, respectively from PGRC of our college under the guidance of Dr. S.Y.Paranjape.

Dr. Hemant V. Ghate was the Ph.D. Research Guide at our centre. He guides students from this PGRC and many researchers from outside who seek his help. He has more than 200 research papers to his credit. Dr.Ghate was awarded ‘Best Teacher Award’ from Government of Maharashtra

Dr. S.Y. Paranjape, Dr.Mrs.Sushama.J.Thatte, Dr. A. M. Bhalerao and Prof. N. M. Naidu, Dr. Bharat T. Kalbage, Dr. Y.S. Shinde and Dr. S.S. Puranik completed Research projects sanctioned by UGC, DBT and BCUD.
