Prajatantra Competition: 2024-25
The Prajatantra event was an engaging and intellectually enriching competition that allowed M.A. Political Science students to explore contemporary political and governance challenges. Two student groups—Modern Nation Party (M.A II) and Modern Progressive Party (M.A I)—participated in various rounds, including speeches, policy presentations, debates, quizzes, and creative competitions.
Key Highlights:
- Modern Nation Party (M.A II) excelled with Khushi Bansod winning 1st place in the Op-Ed Writing Competition and reaching the final round in the Quiz Competition with teammate Gautam.
- Modern Progressive Party (M.A I) showcased strong performances, with Kishor Kamble reaching the final round in the Mayor’s Speech competition and consistent participation across events.
The competition fostered political awareness, teamwork, and critical thinking, providing students with valuable experiential learning opportunities.
Best Student Trophy
The Best Student Trophy Contest 2024-25, organized to recognize and encourage academic excellence, leadership, and overall personality development among students, by the Modern College of Arts Science & Commerce Shivajinagar (autonomous) witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines. The competition aimed to identify students who excel not only in academics but also in extracurricular activities and social initiatives.
Among the shortlisted candidates, Ishwar Ashok Dube, a student of M.A.-I in Political Science, was recognized for his outstanding performance and was selected for the second round of the competition. In recognition of this achievement, he was awarded a certificate and a trophy from the postgraduate wing. His selection highlights his dedication, academic prowess, and active participation in university activities.
