UG Courses :
- Name of the course: Major Paper 1 – German as foreign language
- Objectives of the courses: To enable the students to acquire basic knowledge of German language. • As per the Gemeinsamer Europäischer Referenz Rahmen für Sprachen (European Reference Framework for Languages) the course would be equivalent to Goethe Institut’s A1 level. • Focus would be on the four main aspects of learning German as a foreign language, namely listening skills, reading and comprehension skills, writing skills and oral skills with Grammar as its basis. • The course would also provide a primary insight into culture studies of the German speaking countries.
