About the Department:

The Department of BBA-IB was established in the year 2016. The department concentrates on grooming of the students from an international business point of view and the overall personality development of the students.

The admission to this course is happening under AICTE from the academic year 2024-25, as per the CAP rounds published by AICTE. Students have to appear for the Common Entrance Test to get admitted to this course.

Under autonomy, the department has framed the syllabus as per the defined credit system. The course was conducted under an autonomous syllabus from 2019-20 to 2022-23.

From 2023-24 onwards, our course is imparting knowledge under the NEP 2023 pattern.

In the year 2024, new guidelines were issued under the NEP 2024 pattern. At present, the third-year BBA-IB is following the NEP 2023 pattern, and the first and second years are following the NEP 2024 pattern. The syllabus is restructured as per NEP requirements, and it is approved by the members of the Board of Studies.

We maintain discipline amongst the students and engage them in various activities conducted by the department and college as a whole.

The following three activities are conducted very regularly at the department level.

1. The flagship activity of the IB Exhibition, which is conducted on the topics related to foreign trade, is conducted every year.
2. A live telecast of the union budget is shown to the students, followed by report writing.
3. Visit to dry ports & sea ports along with various other companies.
4. Guest lectures
5. An exhibition on “Best out of Waste” conducted for two years.

From the academic year 2024-25 onwards, a new drive is started at the department, where we are insisting that all students should get their passport done.
