SY & TY UG Admission Notices 2023-24

Admission Notice
SY and TY UG (Arts, Science and Commerce)
(Except SY BA and TY B.Sc.)
For the Academic Year 2023-24

This is to inform to the students from Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous), Shivajinagar, Pune 5, who are going to take admission to SY or TY classes, have to take admission to Second/Third Year only through online admission mode.

Please note, separate notices about the admissions to SY BA and TY B.Sc. will be issued by respective Vice-Principals.

Dates for the online admission:  24^th June 2023 to 1^st July 2023.

The regular classes of SY and TY UG classes will commence from 3^rd July 2023.

The steps for online admission procedure are as follows:

• In order to complete the admission process please visit following link : https://mcs.vriddhionline.com/
• Go to Login menu an select Student Register.
• Use your valid email ID and mobile number to register. You will receive the OTP of the registration process.
• You will receive user ID and password on your registered email ID.
• Use this user ID and password to fill the admission form.
• Upload all the required documents.
• For Admission to Second Year :
  • Minimum 70 % of the total credits of First Year should be earned by the student.
  • Upload your First year marksheet / result summary available on website.
• For Admission to Third Year :
  • First year all subjects including extra courses should be all clear
  • Minimum 50 % of the total credits of Second Year should be earned by the student.
  • Upload your First Year marksheet and (Second year Sem 3 and Sem 4) marksheet / result summary available on website
• Your form will be approved by Faculty Clerk and then Vice-Principal. After Vice-Principal approval, the payment option will be seen on your login.
• Admission Fees are to be paid only through the online Fee Payment Gateway available on the admission form. The fees can be paid using debit card/ credit card/ internet banking/UPI/Wallet.
• The admission of the students to SY / TY will be confirmed only after the student fills and submits the admission form and pays online fees

Academic specifications for S.Y.B.Sc. Admission:

1. For S.Y.B.Sc. the subjects are –

1. Three subjects out of four that were in F.Y.B.Sc.
2. Compulsory subject : Environmental Awareness
3. Optional Language subject : English OR Marathi
4. Three science subjects must be from the available combinations which are listed below. Subjects selected by student at S.Y.B.Sc. must be from the subjects offered at F.Y.B.Sc. The available combinations are listed below :

• Tally MOOC Course (For Semester 4)
• Communication English & Value Education

For S.Y.B.Com. the optional subjects ( to be prefer any one of the following)  –

1. a) Banking and Finance I
2. b) Cost and Works Accounting I
3. c) Marketing Management I
4. d) Business Statistics I

Note : (i)  optional subjects will be allotted to the students on the basis of their academic                  performance  in first year.             (ii) No change in optional subject , once it is allotted to the student.   Academic specifications for S.Y.B.A. Admission: 

1. For S.Y.B.A. Admission compulsory subjects are :
   1. English
   2. Environmental Awareness
   3. Communication English & Value Education
2. Students have to select one special subject, which must be from the subjects offered at F.Y.B.A.. The available subjects are :
