- Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Shivajinagar, Pune -5 is an Autonomous College since academic year 2019-20. The college is permanently affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune-7.
- Being an autonomous college, the syllabus is designed by the college. The examinations are conducted by the College and the result is also declared by the College. However, the final degree is awarded by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune-7 to the students who pass from the autonomous college.
- All the admissions will be given as per the merit of marks of the student and strictly as per the norms / rules of reservation laid down by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune -7 and Government of Maharashtra.
- Last date to fill the Merit form is 25/06/2025
- For admission to following courses Filling Merit Form is mandatory. The admissions will be given strictly as per the merit of marks of the student and strictly as per the norms / rules of reservation laid down by Savitribai Phule Pune University and Government of Maharashtra.

Steps to follow for Merit List Form filling :

- If you have already registered, please click on Login”
- If you are filling the form for the first time, please click on “Register” and register yourself.
- You will receive OTP on the mobile number you entered. (Please enter your own mobile number to avoid further miscommunication). Enter the OTP to verify your mobile number before the time out of OTP.
- After that you will receive your 10 digit user ID / Registration ID and Password on your mobile via sms. Please preserve this information, as it is going to be used for your admission process.
- Click on Merit Form.
- Add all your personal and educational details in the merit form and submit the form. Attach the file of your online copy or marksheet of HSC marksheet
- The students who wish to fill the merit form under specific category, will have to upload the concerned valid documents. If the documents are not valid, the student will be considered under General category.
- Please note that, if the form not submitted status, or incomplete forms will not be considered for the merit list preparation.
- Please note that, the students who have uploaded the online copy of HSC result, will have to produce / submit / upload the HSC marksheet at the time of counseling round, failing to which the student will loose the claim on the admission.

- If you have already registered, please click on Login”. Login using registration ID and password you used during filling the merit form.
- Click on Admission 🡪 Fill Form
- Fill the admission form, upload all related documents, passport size photo and submit the form.
- Please note that, if the ‘form not submitted’ status, or incomplete forms will not be considered for the admission confirmation.
- Please note that Admission will be considered Provisional. To confirm the admission, submission of the admission form, Original Leaving Certificate, photocopy of TY UG marksheet and required documents for category students are mandatory.
- Please note that, the students who have uploaded the online copy of TY UG result, will have to produce / submit / upload the TY UG marksheet at the time of submission of admission form, failing to which the student will loose the claim on the admission.

Note : Admission form filling and payment of fees is strictly by online mode.
Procedure to fill online provisional admission form and online fees payment:
- As per the Merit List, if the candidate’s name is present in the MeritList of First Round of provisional admission, the candidate will receive email on the registered email id.
- The candidate should login using registered user id and password and fill the provisional Admission Form.
- Click on online admission and fill the admission form.
The Candidate should keep following documents ready to upload while submitting the admission form. (The size of individual document uploaded should not exceed 1MB)
- Self attested TY UG mark sheet
- Passport size photograph-2
- Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate
- Caste certificate and cast validity issued by Government of Maharashtra (if applicable)
- Income certificate of the parents issued by competent authority (Tahasildar) (if applicable)
- Certificate of physical disability, ex-serviceman, sports quota, orphan (if applicable)
- Photocopy of the Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in case of reserved category (OBC/DTNT/SBC/EWS/Woman) Candidates if applicable.
- Photocopy of Domicile Certificate
- Aadhar Card Number
- Photo Copy of Adhar Card.
Please note:
- In case the above applicable documents are not uploaded, the application form will be rejected and the candidate will not have any claim on the admission. his / her application will be rejected.
- If any of the submitted documents are found invalid or any of the information w.r.t. marks obtained, income details or caste details are found incorrect, the candidate will not have any claim on the admission. his / her application will be rejected.
- Confirmation of admission depends on :
- Completely filled form
- Correct marks filled by the candidate in merit form
- Valid caste certificate/caste validity (if applicable) issued by Government of Maharashtra is provided by the candidate
- Valid income certificate is provided by the candidate (if applicable)
- Upload above mentioned applicable documents and submit the form.
- After the form is successfully submitted, the form will be verified by the faculty clerk to validate the marks, caste, and income and other than Maharashtra student’s details. If all the above mentioned details are found correct then only the form will be forwarded for Vice-Principal’s Approval. Otherwise, the application form will be rejected by the Faculty Clerk. In such a situation, the candidate will not have any claim on the admission.
- After verification of the admission form by the Faculty Clerk, the Vice-Principal will approve the form.
- After the Vice-Principal approves the form, an online payment option will be enabled to the candidate.
- Please note that, you will be initially admitted provisionally to particular course during Academic Year 2025-26. Your admission will be confirmed subject to fulfillment of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, Eligibility Criteria and submission of original documents after the college starts offline.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
- If seats remain vacant after the first round of admission, further notices regarding admission rounds will be displayed on the college website.
- As soon as admission seats as per the intake capacity of respective course are filled, the admission process will be stopped and further rounds of admissions will be cancelled.

- The admission of the students to FY will be confirmed only after the student fills and submits the admission form, pays online fees, submits the hard copy of admission form, Original Leaving Certificate to College Office within the prescribed dates.
