ADMISSION NOTICE
(For Academic Year 2026-27)
- Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Shivajinagar, Pune-5 has been an Autonomous College since the academic year 2019-2020. The college is permanently affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune-7, and has been conferred with ‘Empowered Autonomous Status’ in 2025-26.
- Being an autonomous college, the syllabus is designed by the college. Examinations are conducted by the College, and results are also declared by the college. However, the final degree is awarded by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune-7 to the students who successfully complete their program.
- All admissions will be granted strictly on the basis of merit (marks obtained) and in accordance with the reservation norms laid down by Savitribai Phule Pune University and the Government of Maharashtra.
- Preference for admission will be given to students who have completed their 12th standard from Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous), Shivajinagar, Pune-5.

Steps to Fill the Admission Form:
- Visit the admission portal and register/login.
- Enter your own mobile number to receive OTP verification.
- After registration, you will receive a 10-digit User ID/Registration ID and password via SMS. Please preserve these credentials.
- Fill in the admission form, upload all required documents, and submit the form.
Important Instructions:
- Incomplete or unsubmitted forms will not be considered for admission.
- Admission will be treated as provisional until all required documents are submitted.
- Submission of the Admission Form, Original Leaving Certificate, photocopy of the Std. 10th & Std. 12th mark sheet, and relevant category documents is mandatory.
- Students who upload only the online Std. 12th result must submit the official mark sheet at the time of admission; failing to do so will result in cancellation of admission.
B) Admissions based on Merit Form :
For admission to following courses Filling Merit Form is mandatory. The admissions will be given strictly as per the merit of marks of the student and strictly as per the norms / rules of reservation laid down by the Savitribai Phule Pune University and Government of Maharashtra.

Steps to follow for Merit List Form filling:
- Link to fill Merit Form for First Year for B.Sc (Computer Science) & B.Sc (Data Science) courses: https://mcs.vriddhionline.com
- Visit the admission portal and register/login.
- Enter your own mobile number to receive OTP verification.
- After registration, you will receive a 10-digit User ID/Registration ID and password via SMS. Please preserve these credentials.
- Complete the Merit Form with accurate personal and academic details.
- Upload the Std. 12th mark sheet (online copy or official document).
- Students applying under reserved categories must upload valid supporting documents; otherwise, they will be considered under the General category.
- Incomplete or unsubmitted forms will not be considered for merit list preparation.
- Please note that, the students who have uploaded the online copy of Std. 12th result, will have to produce / submit / upload the Std. 12th mark sheet at the time of counseling round, failing to which the student will lose the claim on the admission.
- Student will have to pay Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred Fifty only) towards Registration Fees of Merit Form in online manner.

- Candidates who have passed Std. 12th from Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Shivajinagar, Pune -5 will be given admission on preference basis.
- The admission to above mentioned courses will be given strictly on the basis of merit and rules of reservation laid down by the Savitribai Phule Pune University and Government of Maharashtra.

Note :
- Admission form filling and payment of fees is strictly by online mode.
- Students who have done Std 12th from Modern College of Arts Science and Commerce, Shivajinagar, Pune- 5, will also have to fill online merit form for seeking admission to F.Y.B.Sc (Computer Science) & F.Y.B.Sc (Data Science).
Procedure to fill online provisional admission form and online fees payment:
- As per the Allotment List, if the candidate’s name is present in the Allotment List of First Round of provisional admission, the candidate will receive email on the registered e-mail id.
- The candidate should login using registered user id and password and fill the provisional Admission Form.
- Click on online admission and fill the admission form.
The Candidate should keep following documents ready to upload while submitting the admission form. (The size of individual document uploaded should not exceed 1 MB) :
- Self-attested Std. 12th mark sheet
- Two passport size photographs
- Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate
- Caste certificate and cast validity issued by Government of Maharashtra (if applicable)
- Income certificate of the parents issued by competent authority (Tahasildar) (if applicable)
- Certificate of physical disability, ex-serviceman, sports quota, orphan (if applicable)
- Photocopy of the Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in case of reserved category (OBC/DTNT/SBC/EWS/Woman) Candidates if applicable.
- Photocopy of Domicile Certificate
- Photo Copy of Aadhar Card.
Please note:
- In case the above applicable documents are not uploaded, the application form will be rejected and the candidate will not have any claim on the admission his / her application will be rejected.
- If any of the submitted documents are found invalid or any of the information w.r.t. marks obtained, income details or caste details are found incorrect, the candidate will not have any claim on the admission his / her application will be rejected.
- Confirmation of admission depends on :
- Completely filled form
- Correct marks filled by the candidate in merit form
- Valid caste certificate/caste validity (if applicable) issued by the Government of Maharashtra is provided by the candidate.
- Valid income certificate is provided by the candidate (if applicable).
- Upload above mentioned applicable documents and submit the form.
- After the form is successfully submitted, the form will be verified by the faculty clerk to validate the marks, caste, and income and other than Maharashtra student’s details. If all the above mentioned details are found correct then only the form will be forwarded for Vice-Principal’s Approval. Otherwise, the application form will be rejected by Faculty Clerk. In such situation, the candidate will not have any claim on the admission.
- After verification of admission form by Faculty Clerk, Vice-Principal will approve the form.
- After Vice-Principal approves the form, online payment option will be enabled to the candidate.
- Please note that, you will be initially admitted provisionally to particular course during Academic Year 2026-27. Your admission will be confirmed subject to fulfillment of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, Eligibility Criteria and submission of original documents after the college starts offline.
- Date of Commencement of the Courses as per regular time table: Wednesday, 1st July 2026.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
- If seats remain vacant after the first round of admission, further notices regarding admission rounds will be displayed on the college website.
- As soon as admission seats as per the intake capacity of respective course are filled, the admission process will be stopped and further rounds of admissions will be cancelled.

- The admission to FY will be confirmed only after the student fills and submits the admission form, pays online fees, and submits the hard copy of admission form, Original Leaving Certificate to Admin Office within the prescribed dates.
- The first round Allotment List of the candidates (General and Reservation) Std. 12th pass out from Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Shivajinagar, Pune-5 and Std. 12th pass out from other than Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Shivajinagar, Pune-5 for admission to above mentioned courses is declared on the basis of performance in Std. 12th Examination.
