Objectives

1.To understand the development of embedded system. To study the architecture of 32-bit Microprocessor.
2.To explore both assembly & C language for 32-bit processor.
3.To give practical experience on 32-bit microprocessor.

 

Syllabus

Unit-1: Introduction to ARM:
Comparison between CISC and RISC Processor, Comparison between
8/16/32 bit microcontroller
Unit-2: ARM Processor architecture:
Unit-3: ARM Programming Model:
a) Instruction Set b) Assembly Language Programming
Unit-4: Writing C programs for ARM
Unit-5: Practicals
a) On chip peripheral programming – Timer, DAC, ADC
b) External Interface programming – LED, LCD, Seven Segment Display,
Stepper Motor, Keypad interface.
