Co-Curricular and Extra Curricular Activities

A variety of activities are undertaken by the department for the enrichment of staff and students and for developing the interests in the various subjects. These activities include;

  • Project report competition
  • Employment guidance and interview technique programme
  • Career Planning lectures, lectures on how to prepare for M.B.A. entrance examination
  • Special guidance for other competitive examinations
  • Professional Examinations: guidance is informally provided to the students to appear for C.A., I.C.W.A., & CS examinations, along with the University Curriculum. During the year 2011-12 —- Students from F.Y. and S. Y. B. Com class has passed CPT Examination of ICAI.

  • Group Discussion
  • Debating and elocution competition on the subjects of current importance
  • Placement and counseling
  • A Placement Camp was conducted by The Thane Janata Sahakari Bank during the academic years 2010-11 and 2011-12. Twenty five students from our college out of a total of 100 students were short listed.
  • Lectures of experts
  • Lecture on Union Budget 2013 was organised for T.Y.B.Com. students on 5th March, 2013. Resource Person CA Bharat Phatak
